You send the song. I make the record.
Full production service for solo artists, songwriters and bands. Real guitars, bass and drums, played by me. Plus electronic and hybrid production, if that’s what you’d prefer.
Your song, your way. I do justice to the song you wrote, not the one I’d have written — and we shape it together as it grows.
Strictly no AI-generated parts.
Examples of Released Music
Roles vary by track: composer, producer, arranger, performer (guitars, bass, keys, drums, samples), mixing and mastering engineer.
The Deliverables
What You Get
Send me a demo — a piano or guitar and vocal, a rough phone recording or even a voice note, I build the record around it.
Delivered as a mix-ready production, with stems and midi (if required).

Guitars
Electric and acoustic.
Bass Guitars
Drums
Real kit, programmed kit, or hybrid; a real kit reinforced with samples. MIDI supplied alongside the audio for future editing if needed.
Keys & Pianos
Played in on keys, using virtual instruments or samples.
Strings, Brass & Hammond Organ
Played on keys, using virtual instruments or samples. Where a song needs something that cannot be played live, such as a full orchestra, the part is created in the studio from sample libraries or licensed loops — set out plainly in the production agreement.
Electronic & Sample-based Production
Full electronic production or hybrid; with live instruments as well. Twenty years and fifty-plus releases working in pop and dance.
Backing Vocals & Harmonies
Built from your own takes, so they stay your voice, re-recorded by you in a studio session if you'd rather, or sung by me where a second voice works well.
Guide Vocals
If you need to hear an idea before you commit to it.
Arrangement
Structure, dynamics, what to cut, what to lift.
Ideas
Fresh musical additions to lift the production.
The Process
How it Works
1
Send me the song
I have an impeccable ear, so you don't need to send notation / charts, a click, or anything particularly completed, just the song or vocal. I am happy to work from tab, notation and chord boxes too.
2
Send three reference tracks
Records you want it to feel like. This tells me more in five minutes than an hour of talking.
3
I build it
I send rough versions as it takes shape so nothing goes off in the wrong direction.
4
Two rounds of changes...
then it's finished.
5
You get...
the final production plus stems (and midi), ready for mixing and mastering.
Be as involved as you want to be. We can work closely throughout, or you can send the song and leave me to it. Typical turnaround is two to three weeks.
Typical turnaround is two to three weeks, with the first rough version usually within a few days rather than at the end.
The STUDIO
Where it Happens
Everything runs remotely, so it doesn't matter where you are. However studio sessions in Bromsgrove (near Birmingham) are available for artists who want to track vocals or instruments in person.
The ARTISTS
Who it's For
Solo artists, singer-songwriters and top-liners with good songs and no band. Also, bands wanting a fresh production approach on a song or an existing recording — I'd just need separate stems for that.
If your demo has been sitting on your phone or your hard drive for a year, this is the service for you.
Where I Excel
Indie, pop, rock, folk, soul, funk, acoustic, metal, electronic and dance, and all things adjacent.
Influences
You name it, I've probably heard it and played in a band similar to it.
I serve the song, and our vision for it.

Just need one part?
Not every song needs producing. If yours is nearly there and it's missing a guitar line, a bass part or a real drum take, send it over and I'll play it.
£75 a part. £150 for real drums on a live kit.
What comes back: two alternate takes so you can choose, dry and processed versions so your mix engineer has options, and one round of changes. Three to five days.
A rough mix or stems is all I need — a phone recording works too. I work by ear, so nothing needs preparing first.
